The lowering link comes with bearings and seals, but you will need to remove the center sleeve from the stock link and press it into the new link. Before installing the sleeve, thoroughly lubricate the bearings on the new lowering link. After installation, lubricate each grease fitting with a grease gun every 5-10 hours of riding to significantly extend the bearing life. For installation torque, follow the specifications in the service manual. To maintain balanced handling, it is recommended to raise the fork tubes to a certain height depending on the condition of the bike. Lowering the suspension will change the geometry and handling characteristics of the bike. Be cautious in the initial ride and avoid high speeds or violent maneuvers.
